History of Boston Whaler Boats

The history of the Boston Whaler brand began shortly before the foundation of the company.

 

By trial and error, the Boston Whaler 13 was born in 1956, and in 1958 the company began mass production in Massachusetts.

 

Also attracted by a large carrying capacity and unsinkability.

 

Since 1969, the company managed to change three owners and suffered a number of financial setbacks, but the Boston Whaler proved that it produces not only unsinkable boats, but it is not going to sink to the bottom.

 

In 1996, the Boston Whaler was acquired by the Brunswick Boat Group and now makes a significant contribution to the corporation.

 

All models are powered by Mercury Marine outboards, which is also part of the Brunswick Boat Group.
